I hope 2012 will be a good year for all.

Maybe use this thread to write down your New Years resolutions??



Mine is to focus most of my time on my illustration career.

Last year my day job was taking over a lot of my time because I was an assistant store manager, so from this month onwards I've asked to reduce my hours considerably.

So now that I'm just a part-timer and have so much more time to work on stuff.
This includes my webcomic, sending promotional things to magazines every 2 months, and doing other freelancey things on the side.

I hope to have enough income so I can quit the day job and go 100% freelance!!

This was my first time visiting your sites, nawa. I'm impressed! I thought it was going to be the submarine story, but I like this one too! Your style has a very... warm and comfortable feeling. Can I use those to describe your drawing? Anyway, good luck with your freelance work. I know you'll be great.

My resolution is to basically stay the course. I just got a new job and I really like the new office environment. I want to make a career out of this one and start studying for the GMAT, so I can go back to school for an MBA. Currently I'm learning tons about Access, Google Analytics, and Oracle software, and they are all very interesting. Well, maybe not Access so much, but I can see my need for it. I hope to be in my own place in a couple months, and I'm excited to move, and lowering my daily commute from an hour to just about 5-10 minutes. I really hate traffic!

Yeah, Nawa, I'm loving of beaufort! Just to point out one thing... the way the clouds look like a bed sheet being shaken.... I think it's pretty cool. You've captured my interest in wanting to know what these characters are hiding.

Kryn, keep up the good work. By the way, what is Google Analytics? I see it on pretty much every web page via NoScript, and I have it blocked. I figured it's probably an information gathering thingy, thus not critical to run web content, thus I never put it on my whitelist.

One of my resolutions is to get back into a workout routine. I've been getting a bit lazy, and I admit having felt pretty good after I took that boxing class several years ago. My goal is to gain 8 pounds of muscle by the end of the year.

My other resolution is to grow closer with God. One of the things I'm gonna try to keep up with is reading my bible regularly, at least 5 times a week. I'll also cut down on those, "I'm not making it to church today," mornings. (What can I say, laziness grabs a hold of me on the weekends.)

May this year brings prosperity to us all! =D

i hope to become determined about doing my school work. i always find my work ethic is great at the beginning of the school year and by the holidays its gone. i also want to get a bunch of community hours this year.
